An overview of TerraQuant treatment programs

TerraQuant Automated Mode.

The user can choose between 5 programs, which have been preset for treatment of different conditions. A program is selected by pushing the relevant program number after completion of the TerraQuant unit self-test. Each program uses different pulse frequencies and has different treatment session durations, as summarized in the table below. Variation of the pulse frequencies alters the depth of penetration of the laser light.

Its state-of-the-art menu-prompted console drives up to five outputs, four of which are preset programs with selectable parameters (chosen from the user manual). The fifth output is manual, controlled by the therapist or the individual.

To treat a painful area the TerraQuant emitter is simply held by the therapist of by the individual directly on the painful area, or is moved in a circular motion on the painful area.
